Founded by Alissa Paolella and launched June 1, 2026, Springs Content Studio is a full-service marketing and communications firm based in Yellow Springs, Ohio. The studio provides strategic copywriting, content development, brand messaging, graphic design, fundraising support and public relations services to small businesses and nonprofit organizations — locally, regionally and nationally.
Two decades in the making
Alissa didn't wake up one day and decide to start a content studio. She built toward it over more than 20 years working as a journalist, marketer, nonprofit communicator and brand strategist.
"Springs Content Studio is the business I've been building toward for more than two decades," she says. "I started as a journalist, moved into marketing and nonprofit work, and along the way I discovered that what I love most is helping organizations find the words that make people care. Yellow Springs is the perfect home for that work."
Before launching Springs Content Studio, Alissa operated as Alissa Paolella Consulting, working with clients across the Dayton region and beyond. The new LLC is a formalization and expansion of that practice — with a sharper focus, a broader service offering and a permanent home in the village she loves.

All grant-writing fees are flat-rate or hourly — never commission- or percentage-based, in keeping with the ethical standards of the Association of Fundraising Professionals and the Grant Professionals Association.

Springs Content Studio offers project-based, hourly and monthly retainer arrangements — designed with the scale and budget of small businesses and nonprofits in mind.
Retainer clients receive priority scheduling and consistent strategic support. Monthly retainer packages begin at $1,000 per month.
